An article in the summer 2011 issue of The Promise summarized the results of a National Needs Assessment conducted by Community Action Partnership's National Training Center. "Succession Planning was identified as the most pressing training need among survey respondents. When asked to choose between developing new leadership, managing through ROMA, Board structure and membership, succession planning, incorporating agency's mission and vision into the daily organizational activities, and the option to list another training need survey respondents chose succession planning as the most pressing need."
